no dear, as i stated in the second slide, this is going on the assumption that jon is the son of rhaegar targaryen and lyanna stark, not ned stark, so they would, in fact, be cousins.

also, i don’t know how your parents raised you but mine taught me not to call other people names on their own tumblr posts :)

Yeah, except that as far as I’m aware that’s just a fan theory and as such I go by the stated fact that Jon Snow is in fact Ned Stark’s son. It reeks of fudging canon details just to suit your shipping preferences. I apologize for calling you an imbecile but it really doesn’t matter whose post I do it on.

justplainsomething asked: Technically if their parents were siblings and they fell in love they'd be both siblings and cousins. Also, I don't watch the show but I could see this happening because incest is apparently a thing in the show?

Jon Snow is Ned Stark’s bastard child that he had with another woman. Sansa is the daughter Ned had with his wife. In either case, Ned is the common denominator here so there is no possible way they are not siblings. Saying that it makes them cousins is completely nonsensical.

So do colorblind folks ever try to convince White Supremacists that race is just a social construct or do they only do it when POC have legitimate criticisms of race relations in various countries around the world?

Lingering social anxiety means that every time a movie or tv show character makes an unexpected friend from an incredibly awkward situation I can’t help thinking how much things would not have turned out that way if that had been me.

And then I start wishing they would just stop talking to each other because it is so uncomfortable for me and how dare someone be so good at socializing.

Can I just say how cool it was that both of these superheroines’ personalities and powers were explored in this episode? And how well it was done?

Starfire was not shamed for being emotional. Her powers come from her emotions.

Raven was not shamed for suppressing her emotions. Her power requires amazing control.

They both. Work. They are both different kinds of strength, and they are both heroic and powerful and good. And they each learned from the other, and helped each other out by seeing from each others’ perspective, and finding the value in their differing approaches! Wow!

Fuck yes, this is how you write super-ladies, okay. There’s more than one way to be a “strong female character.” There’s all different kinds of strength. Why don’t more people GET this?
