Why shouldn’t he be Tony Stark? Samuel L Jackson was Nick Fury before Nick Fury was even Nick Fury. Mark Ruffalo likes ranting about science and corporations. Hiddleston has the most Loki feels of anyone. If you told me that Scarlett Johanson was secretly a spy or that Chris Helmsworth was secretly a Norse god, yeah, I’d believe it.
I’m not saying that Avengers is a documentary, but we need to entertain the possibility that real life is just some sort of actor AU.
