Updating this a day early because screw it, I’ve been writing this damn thing for six months now. You can find the other chapters at my fanfiction masterlist.
This chapter does contain a major continuity bomb that basically goes over Steph’s entire history, but there’s enough details in context that hopefully people who haven’t read all 20 years of her appearances won’t be lost (a lot of people forget that she’s been around almost as long as Tim, and as far as post-crisis continuity goes she’s only six RL years behind Jason). It’s also the longest chapter yet, clocking in at just over 9,000 words.
